Diana Bober, 55, likes to hike in the Gorge and near Mt. Hood

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A search and rescue mission is underway near the Zigzag Ranger Station after a missing Gresham woman's car was found.

Diana Bober, 55, is an avid hiker who was last seen on August 29. She is known to visit the Columbia River Gorge and Mount Hood area. Her family is worried something may have happened to her while hiking.

Bober has red hair, is 5-foot-4 and 115 pounds. She drives a black 1996 Mazda Miata with Oregon plate 324-HPJ.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office said her car was near the ranger station around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Search and rescue teams started looking for Bober at 7 a.m. on Sunday. A helicopter was used during Sunday's search, according to deputies.

If you know where she is, call 503.823.3333.
