PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A missing Longview mushroom picker was found by an elk hunter in Wahkiakum County Thursday morning and, despite being cold and hungry, is fine.
Delores Williams was picking mushrooms with friends when she became lost around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Her friends notified authorities, who began an all-night air- and ground search for the woman.
Sometime Thursday morning, the elk hunter found the woman and walked her out to the Search and Rescue teams from Wahkiakum and Cowlitz counties.
