PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A motorcycle crashed after being rear-ended Thursday afternoon on Sunset Highway, officials said.

The crash, which happened around 5 p.m., blocked the center lane of westbound traffic at milepost 69, according to the Beaverton Police Department.

Police officers later said a Trans-Am was seen recklessly weaving in and out of traffic on westbound Sunset Highway when it bumped into the back of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle crashed after being pushed into the car in front of it.

Officers said the Trams-Am drove off but the other driver stayed on the scene.

The Trans-Am is described as being green or teal in color and an older model. If you know anything about it, please contact Beaverton Police at 503.629.0111.
