PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A car pulled out in front of a motorcycle, causing a serious crash Saturday afternoon on Tualatin Valley Highway just west of Hillsboro, deputies said.

The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of TV Highway and Northwest 334th Avenue.

LifeFlight transported the motorcyclist to a hospital.

The rider is expected to survive, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

TV Highway has reopened in both directions.
