PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Mt. Bachelor reopened Friday after it was forced to close its entire ski area on Thursday due to a water main break.

According to the ski resort’s website, the water main line ruptured and as a result, none of the buildings had water.

Mt. Bachelor apologized for the disruption:

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disruption this has caused. We will be communicating information as quickly as we can, but at this point, we do not have enough information to determine how long this closure will last. We’re working hard, fast and safely to get the water line repaired. We’ll update this page as soon as we get new information.”

Fortunately, the ski resort was back open on Friday.
