PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 29-year-old inmate at the Multnomah County Detention Center died Friday night, and there were no obvious signs of foul play.
Lloyd Virnig of Sandy was found unresponsive by a Multnomah County Corrections Deputy conducting a routine security and welfare check. Officials said he was given medical treatment immediately but he could not be revived.
An autopsy was performed Saturday morning. The Medical Examiner found no obvious signs of foul play. The cause of death is still under investigation.
