ALOHA, Ore. (KOIN) — A man stabbed his mother to death before taking his own life inside their home in Aloha, officials said.
Deputies were called to the 6900 block of SW 195th at the Pine Ridge Mobile Home Park shortly after 5 p.m. Friday after a family member reported finding a man and woman dead inside of their home, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, authorities said 23-year-old David Jaymes Gellings fatally stabbed his mother, 49-year-old Lisa Marie Gellings, then shot and killed himself.

Neighbors told KOIN 6 News the mother and son had a good relationship.
Tthe entire incident has still shaken the neighborhood.
“That’s horrible, absolutely horrible … very sad,” said Lori Patrick, a neighbor. “I can’t even imagine.”
