PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A small plane crashed into the Deschutes River near Sunriver Saturday morning, killing one person who was inside.

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office said the private float plane took off from the Sunriver Airport and flipped over when it landed on the water.
