PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A fire broke out Thursday evening at the popular Otis Cafe near Lincoln City.

Photos shared by The News Guard show heavy smoke rising from the building as firefighters work to extinguish the flames.

No one was hurt.

North Lincoln Fire and Rescue said the fire appeared to have started in the cafe’s attic at about 7:45 p.m. The fire took about 30 minutes to put out.

Firefighters said the damage was contained to the attic and kitchen. Otis Cafe owner Jeff England said he hopes to rebuild and was overwhelmed by the show of support from the community.
