PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 3-bedroom home in Lebanon that was recently remodeled and listed for sale was seriously damaged in a fire Saturday morning.

The fire at the vacant home at 221 Jennings Street was spotted around 9 a.m. Firefighters rushed to the scene and spent more than 2 hours putting out the blaze and hot spots, the Lebanon Fire District said.

Thermal imaging cameras, chainsaws and axes were used by crews as they worked to put out the fire.

Neighbors told investigators — who remain on scene — that realtors showed the home to potential buyers on Friday.

No one was hurt and no damage estimate was given.

The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, and anyone with information is asked to call Deputy Fire Marshal Ken Foster at 541.619.8746.
