PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was arrested for stealing a bait package in Aloha on Sunday morning.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office began targeting package thefts last week by setting up bait packages. The decoy packages have tracking devices inside.

34-year-old Sheena Watson of Beaverton was caught with one of the packages stolen from the 20700 block of SW Rosa Road before 6 a.m. Sunday. Officers tracked the package and found Watson.

She is charged with mail theft and theft in the second degree. She also had a warrant out for her arrest.

The Sheriff’s Office says there are other active decoy packages in the county.
