PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland International Airport is set to demolish Concourse A in November.

The demolition is part of a five-year project to revamp the airport. Concourse A mainly serves Alaska Airlines flights. Alaska flights will now depart from C gates.

Concourse E is currently being expanded and is set to open in summer 2020. Seven new shops and restaurants are set to open as well.

The main terminal design has yet to be revealed.

The airport has set up a website, pdxnext, dedicated to announcing redesign plans.
