PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Stormy weather knocked out power for many in both Oregon and Southwest Washington on Monday — and although crews have hit the streets to repair damaged lines and restore service, the problem keeps getting worse.

Around 4 p.m., there were about 20,000 customers without power in the area. Fallen trees caused damage throughout the metro.
