PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Voters in Oregon’s capital city will soon face a big decision in the coming special election.
The controversial Safe Salem Payroll Tax that would cost the city’s workers an extra $40 a month is on the ballot.
Salem’s mayor, Chris Hoy, joined AM Extra to talk about the ballot initiative as well as other updates for the community.
