PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Four people were arrested Wednesday for reportedly disrupting a public meeting in Portland’s City Hall Council Chambers, police said.
Police were called to City Hall around 10:50 a.m. when Joseph Walsh, 74, Robert Lee West, 51, Mary Rose Eng, 38, and David Kif Davis, 46, allegedly refused to leave the city council’s morning session.
All 4 were arrested without incident and charged with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree disorderly conduct, according to police.
Walsh was hospitalized for difficulty breathing before he was taken to jail.
The circumstances surrounding the alleged disturbance are unclear.
All suspects will be arraigned Thursday in Multnomah County Court.
