Deputies were called out to the 1000-block of Portland Road NE around 3:20 a.m. on a report of gunfire. They arrived to find that a 26-year-old Myrtle Creek man had been shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with what the sheriff’s office described as non-life-threatening injuries.
