Same bank hit twice, same robber suspected

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A masked man is suspected of robbing the same Vancouver bank twice within five weeks, Vancouver police said Thursday.

The Heritage Bank at 16400 SE 18th St. was robbed March 14 and April 24. In both cases, the bandit wore a ski mask. In the first robbery, a knife was shown.

Investigators said the suspect is a white man between the ages of 35-45 with black-and-gray hair. He was unshaven, wore blue jeans, a black zip-up jacket, a beanie and a mask.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Oregon, which is offering a reward of up to $2,500.
