PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A convicted sex offender was found guilty of sex abuse in Washington County after he abused a girl he knew for three years.

The Washington County District Attorney’s Office said John William Miller III moved in with the victim and her mother in 2012. At the time, he was already a convicted sex offender.

Investigators learned he would play a “game” in which he’d pull down the victim’s pants. He also looked at “nudist minors” online.

The victim revealed the abuse when she was hospitalized for having suicidal thoughts.

Miller was found guilty of fives counts of first-degree sex abuse and will be sentenced on December 6.
