AMITY, Ore. (KOIN) — Speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in a crash that left one person critically injured Sunday morning.
Oregon State Police said around 3 a.m., 20-year-old Marquis Ortiz Namyslowski was driving on Highway 99W near milepost 48.5 when his Nissan sedan left the road and rolled several times.
A boy who sitting in the backseat was ejected from the car and sustained critical injuries. He was airlifted to a Portland area hospital. The front passenger, 19-year-old Sebastian Michael Oak, was treated at the scene.
Namyslowski was lodged at Polk County Jail for multiple charges including DUII, reckless driving and assault.
