Suspects found in woods after robbery in Scotts Mills

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two men were arrested after a robbery in Scotts Mills Monday morning.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said two men forcibly took cash from the clerk at Scotts Mills Market around 9 a.m. and then got away in a stolen Subaru. 

The stolen car was found nearby but the suspects had run into a wooded area. 

Riley Baney, 20, and James Hunsberger, 21, were found a few hours later and booked into the Marion County Jail on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, trespass II, theft III, criminal mischief III and robbery II.
