VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) — A teenage boy was rescued from a 35-foot cliff in Vancouver early Thursday morning.

The Vancouver Fire Department said they responded to 4297 SE 192nd Ave. at 3 a.m. after receiving a report that someone was stuck on a cliff.

Fortunately, the teen wasn’t injured, but authorities said he was unwilling to move any further.

A rescuer was sent over the edge of the cliff and down to the stranded teen. He was placed in a rescue harness and lowered to the ground.
