PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Good news for drivers on Sunday night: the Burnside Bridge was reopened after being completely closed to traffic for most of the weekend.
Crews were repairing deck joints on the east side of the bridge. The structure has been undergoing a construction project that is projected to wrap up in November.
While the bridge opening was announced on Twitter Sunday evening, some lanes may still be closed.Remember to follow KOIN 6 News on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Download our free news and weather apps for the latest headlines and forecast information.
