PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The crane removal that was supposed to take place on Friday morning has been postponed until July.
Construction crews were in the process of setting up a crane to remove the tower crane that was used to build the new Multnomah County Central Courthouse when they discovered underground utilities that could be damaged by the outrigger support from the crane.
The construction team will have to revise the layout before the courthouse crane can be removed. It’s scheduled to happen sometime in July, though no specific date was given.
No streets are closed.
