PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Three people are accused of stealing about $50,000 of equipment from the Microsoft store in downtown Portland over a 4-month period.

Michael Duane Shepherd, Seth Wyatt Colson and Natalie Nicole Pence were arrested after the months-long investigation, the Multnomah County DA’s Office said Thursday.

Store officials told investigators multiple people went into the store at 300 SW Yamhill and stole laptops, tablets and other items.

Police kept an eye on the store on November 29 to see if any of the suspects would come back. That day, the DA’s Office said, Shepherd was seen going into the store and taking a laptop.

Colson is suspected of stealing items that same day and 3 days earlier, while Pence is accused of stealing items “multiple times” in November.

Collectively they stole about $50,000 in goods from the Microsoft store, the DA’s Office said.

The investigation into the thefts continues.
