PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Union Gospel Mission will serve Easter brunch to 500 people on Sunday, April 21.
The meal consists of ham, scrambled eggs with cheese, biscuits with sausage gravy, a fruit cup, cinnamon rolls, coffee, orange juice and water. The brunch is free to anyone who needs it.
The meal will be served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
There will also be 500 gift bags with socks, hand warmers, a hat and a hygiene kit.
There are already 120 volunteers slated to help put on the event but the Union Gospel Mission is still looking for donations of ham and whole bean coffee.
They are also seeking travel size deodorant, toothpaste and wet wipes. All donations can be dropped off at 3 NW Third Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97209.
