Vigil in Gresham remembers slain teen

GRESHAM, Ore. (KOIN) — Family and friends spent Saturday remembering a 19-year-old who was shot to death Thursday night in Gresham.

Christopher Moss Jr. was shot at NE 162nd and Glisan Street and died later at a hospital.

His girlfriend, Ayesha Lomax, said, “He had the purest heart. He was a great person, very kindhearted, always taking care of his family or the people. He would give his everything into the people that he loved.”

Detectives with the Gresham Major Crimes Team are investigating and arrested 18-year-old Jamaine Oliver Jr. of Fairview. He was looked into the Multnomah County Detention Center Friday morning.
