Mostly cloudy skies tonight, with light rain along the coast tomorrow morning. A warm front bring widespread rain tomorrow afternoon. Daytime highs in the valley still reaching upper 50’s. “Normal” daytime high is 47° in Portland this time of year.
Temperatures drop as a cold front moves through Thursday, bringing several inches of snow to the Cascades and down below the passes.
A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect Wednesday night through Thursday night due to a very large westerly swell up to 32+ft Wed/ Thur, and above normal high tide Thu. 12am – 2am and noon – 2pm 8.5′ – 10.5′. Large swell + strong winds during high tide time could produce flooding in low lying areas, beach parking lots, boardwalks, etc. Areas of concern include beaches and inlets from Willapa Bay, Astoria, and south to Seaside, Tillamook, and Florence.
Expect rain heading into the weekend with snow as low as 2,500 ft.
