PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Witnesses said they saw at least 3 people fleeing the scene from what an investigation revealed to be an intentionally set fire on Saturday.

No one was injured in the fire, but multiple cars were damaged around the area. Some cars were hurt by the fire, but others were found to be targeted with their windows broken out — even though surrounding cars were untouched.

During their investigation, Kelso police and Cowlitz 2 Fire and Rescue discovered the fire was purposely set with an accelerant.

The 3 people witnesses allegedly saw flee the scene reportedly drove away in a black SUV.

No more information is being released while the investigation continues.
