HAZEL DELL, Wash. (KOIN) — Clark County Deputies are investigating an early morning burglary in the west Hazel Dell neighborhood.
Deputies say 2 men forced their way into the house about 5:45 Wednesday after pounding on the door, shouting “police.”
A woman was home alone at the time but she wasn’t hurt. She says she doesn’t know the 2 men who broke in.
“There’s no indication whether this was targeted or random, it’s really too early in the investigation to tell and hopefully detectives will be able to determine that at some point,” says Sergeant Fred Neiman.
The men stole some electronics and banking information.
“They took everything from her,” says a neighbor, Kay. “Her keys, her purse. Yeah, that’s really worrisome for us over here, too.”
