Woman killed in Oregon City mobile home fire

OREGON CITY, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was found dead in her mobile home after a fire on Thankgiving night.

Three other people managed to escape unharmed, but the flames appeared too intense for them to try to rescue a woman in the back bedroom.

“It was very intense, the fire was quite large,” neighbor Kristin Pineda said. “I saw the fire it just made me gasp a little bit and caught me off guard.”

Clackamas Fire District #1 responded to 19371 South End Road around 11 p.m. and found the mobile home with heavy flames coming out of it.

The woman was found in the back half of the home in her bedroom, but by the time fire fighters got there, it was too late.
