PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The Ducks’ men’s basketball roster just reportedly grew with the announcement of a new recruit from the class of 2019.

N’faly Dante, a 6-foot-11 five-star center, has reclassified to the 2019 class and committed to play at the University of Oregon, according to ESPN. Dante previously was ranked the number 18 overall prospect and the number 4 center in the class of 2020.

Originally from Mali, Dante attended Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas. Dante reportedly played this spring and summer in the Nike EYBL basketball league, where he averaged 15.8 points, 10.5 rebounds and swatted 2.1 blocks a game.

Dante also reportedly shot 72% from the field and shot 60% from the free-throw line.

Now, the five-star center now joins fellow five-star small forward C.J. Walker and a revamped Ducks team with the additions of a handful of transfers.
