PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — When the Blazers take on Golden State in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday the Warriors won’t have Kevin Durant in the lineup.

ESPN reports Durant will have his strained right calf reevaluated on Thursday and will miss at least Tuesday’s Game 1 of the Western Conference finals against Portland.

It’s unlikely Durant will play in Thursday’s Game 2, according to ESPN’s source.

Durant hurt his calf in Game 5 against the Rockets, a series the Warriors won in 6 games.

For the Blazers, Rodney Hood is day-to-day with a left knee hyperextension.

The first two games of the Western Conference Finals are in Oakland, with Games 3 and 4 at the Moda Center.
