Trail Blazers to unveil new basketball court ahead of team’s 50th anniversary

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) –   The Portland Trail Blazers are set to reveal a brand new basketball court as the team prepares to celebrate 50 years in the NBA.

The new court, which will be unveiled on Monday evening at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, aims to honor the Trail Blazers’ 50th anniversary and will pay tribute to the teams five decades of basketball.

Alongside the court unveiling, the Trail Blazers will team up with Sneaker Week Portland to celebrate the city’s sneaker culture and bring together enthusiasts, creative professionals, and influencers from across the nation. 

This unveiling will be joined by Trail Blazers greats Bob Gross, Michael Harper, Terry Porter and Greg Smith, Sneaker Week founder Herbert Beauclere, and Blazers Studio hosts and analysts Jordan Kent and Michael Holton.
