Portland State Vikings start football training camp

The week involves team building activities and football practice

WARRENTON, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland State Vikings football program went to Warrenton for their first training camp of the 2019 season.

Just as the Portland State football team was about to begin fall football camp on the Oregon coast, their Head Coach–Bruce Barnum– had a surprise in story for a former walk-on.

Jacob Bystry– a native of Vancouver and Columbia River High School — was awarded a scholarship for the 2019 season.

Bystry, who is a senior WR, was clearly stunned. His reaction–along with the entire PSU team– was priceless.
