PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The late February winter storm system that dumped near-record amounts of snow in parts of Oregon on Monday has not given up and will bring more to the central Willamette Valley by Wednesday.

The storm does not appear poised to do much in the Portland metro area, although flurries are possible.

But the central valley, southern Cascades and central/southern Oregon will see significant snow totals through Wednesday.

There is a Winter Storm Warning in effect through noon Wednesday for Central Oregon: Bend, Madras, Prineville, Redmond.

A Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect through 10 a.m. Wednesday for the South Cascades: Siskiyous, Siskiyou I-5 Summit, Crater Lake, Diamond Lake
