PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Enjoy the sun and get outside this weekend. The Pacific Northwest will score another dry stretch of days as a strong ridge of high pressure persists over the West Coast.
If you’re out in the early mornings come the weekend, gear up for cold conditions. Morning lows will start out in the 30s for many with some frost.
Heading to sports games or for a morning run? You’ll want to grab some gloves – and a hat wouldn’t hurt.
If you’re heading around the state, most regions should remain dry with plenty of sunshine. It’ll be a great weekend for a trip to the coast and walks along the shores.
This weekend is also an ideal one to get outside for a hike and catch the last shades of color in the trees. The gorge will see sunny skies and highs in the 50s and 60s.
If you’re heading into the mountains, prepare for breezy winds on Mt. Hood on Saturday, but plenty of sunshine to go around.
